Privacy policy

Effective date: February 24, 2026

KIDBOOK INC, doing business as Feedvite (“Feedvite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates feedvite.com and the Feedvite service (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service. By using Feedvite, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in via Google OAuth or email magic link, we receive your email address and, if using Google Sign-In, your name and profile picture as provided by Google. We do not receive or store your Google account password.

Content you create

We store the invitations you create, including any text, images, and design choices. Guest photos uploaded to an event feed, RSVP responses (name, attendance status, headcount, and any notes), and invitation customization data are all stored on our servers.

Phone number

If you or a guest provide a phone number, we use it solely to send event-related SMS notifications (e.g., invitation alerts, RSVP updates, event changes). We use Twilio as our SMS delivery provider.

Usage data

We collect standard web analytics data — pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and IP address — through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. This data is aggregated and used to improve the Service.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly.

2. How we use your information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate your account and keep it secure
  • Send transactional emails (e.g., your magic link, invitations to guests)
  • Send SMS notifications about event invitations, RSVP updates, and event changes
  • Generate AI-assisted invitation images using Google Gemini
  • Analyze usage trends to make product decisions
  • Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content or photos to train AI models. We do not sell, share, or disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS consent data to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

3. How we share your information

We share information only with the third-party services required to operate Feedvite:

Supabase

Our database and file storage provider. All user data, invitation content, and uploaded photos are stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure (hosted on AWS). Supabase also handles authentication.

Twilio

Our SMS delivery provider. Phone numbers are shared with Twilio solely to deliver text message notifications. Twilio's use of this data is governed by Twilio's Privacy Policy.

Google

Used for sign-in (Google OAuth), AI image generation (Gemini API), and analytics (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager). Data shared with Google is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition (users will be notified of any change in data controller).

4. Guest data

When someone RSVPs to or uploads a photo to an invitation, they are acting as a guest of the invitation host. The host is responsible for any notice given to their guests about data collection. Feedvite stores RSVP responses and photos solely to deliver the invitation experience. Guest data is tied to the invitation and is deleted when the invitation host deletes their account or the invitation.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data and invitation content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and associated content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Analytics data retained by Google is governed by Google's retention settings.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

Feedvite is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Your rights (California residents)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how it's used
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal data)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

To exercise these rights, contact us at team.kidbook@gmail.com.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of Feedvite after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
